Welcome to Autumn 2016 in Jubilee Park. Our open air heated swimming pools are now closed for the season but our lovely gardens and play areas are open all the year for you to enjoy.
Announcing our longest swimming season ever in 2017! By popular demand and thanks to the success of new regular ways of raising money for the park and the support of residents, businesses and visitors, we are thrilled to be able to offer 6 extra weeks of swimming next year- from Easter to October!
Watch this space and our social media for full details later this year!
PLAYPARK APPEAL PROGRESS It may still look good on top thanks to the hard work of our staff, but our 2016 annual independent inspection shows that some equipment in Jubilee Park childrens playground must soon be replaced at a total cost of £40,000. All donations received over the next few months will be put towards this loved and well used community resource for local children and visitors. We have so far raised enough match funding, thanks to generous public support, to at least apply for a grant, but it’s a highly competitive market with less and less money available, so we are not complacent. Please give generously to help us keep our playpark open for seasons to come!
MEMBERS, SUPPORTERS AND VOLUNTEERS keep us going. We are entirely self supporting and run as a charity by our members with no public funding. There are loads of ways you can support us and we’re always looking for volunteers to give us hand for everything from gardening to handing out leaflets.
To become a member click here for details of who qualifies and for your membership application form- you only have to join once and it’s free, but you get to help decide policy and are the first to hear our news and plans.
You can download the handy Supporters and Volunteers packs that list ways you can help and there’s a new simple form for volunteers so we know who we can call on for what and when. Click here for your copy or collect the packs and forms from Woodhall Spa library.
