Jubilee Park is proud to support the 1940’s weekend. Whilst there will be disruption to normal operations as our car parks will be in use for the event, we’re sure that our regular customers will understand and make alternative arrangements to visit us. We know how important the festival is to the village and we hope you can enjoy it as much as we do!
Welcome to Summer 2018 in Jubilee Park. Our open air heated swimming pools are open every day until the 16th September and are heated to 29 degrees.
Coming with children under the age of 11, please check our safe swim policy before coming. This can be found by clicking on this link.
The Caravan and Camping site opened on the 23rd March 2018
Our playpark was fully refurbished in May, with new and improved equipment for an even more fun experience for children. Our grateful thanks to all those generous donors to last year’s Playpark Appeal and especially to WREN who’s grant enabled us to reach our target and get the work done ahead of our main season.
New Appeal: A stunning sensory sunken garden to liven up a dull corner. Below is an artist’s impression of what it could look like. The garden will be wheelchair friendly and the planting carefully chosen to stimulate the senses – including scented and edible plants. A water feature will add sound and enhance what will be a quiet corner for both disabled and able bodied visitors. We have already begun receiving donations specifically for this project that has captured the imagination of many of our supporters. The garden is the latest in our ongoing improvement of our lovely little park
MEMBERS, SUPPORTERS AND VOLUNTEERS keep us going. We are entirely self-supporting and run as a charity by our members with no public funding. There are loads of ways you can support us and we’re always looking for volunteers to give us hand for everything from gardening to handing out leaflets.
Want to become a member click here for details of who qualifies and for your downloadable membership application form – you only have to join once and it’s free, but you get to help decide policy and are the first to hear our news and plans.
You can download the handy Supporters and Volunteers packs that list ways you can help and there’s a new simple form for volunteers so we know who we can call on for what and when. Click here for your copy or collect the packs and forms from Woodhall Spa library.
WATCH THIS SPACE AND ‘GET ACTIVE!’ We’ll be doing our bit to help residents and visitors improve their health and well-being this year with a new ‘Get Active’ campaign to help and encourage everyone to use our facilities and those of the sporting clubs we host. More about that as the season progresses…
